Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Vektra Discord bot (hereby referred to as "Service"), operated by oSiRiS Studio (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). It explains what information the Service collects and how it is used.

To operate its features, the Service may collect and store:

• Discord identifiers: your user ID, and the server (guild) and channel IDs where the Service is used.
• Bot configuration you or a server admin set up, such as translation channel pairs and your language preference.
• Hangman game data: statistics, points, streaks, rankings, and achievements tied to your Discord user ID.
• Message content you send in channels configured for translation, and text submitted through the feedback command — both are processed to provide the feature (translation via a third-party API, or forwarding your feedback) and are not stored longer than needed for that purpose.

The Service does not collect precise device location, and does not use your data to build advertising profiles. It does not sell your data to third parties.

The Service relies on the following third parties, which process data as described in their own privacy policies:

• Discord — the platform the Service operates on; all interactions necessarily pass through Discord's infrastructure.
• Groq — used to detect and translate message content for the translation feature.

Configuration and statistics data is retained for as long as the Service is active in a server, or for as long as your Discord account has associated Hangman/preference data. If you wish to have your data deleted, you can:

• Remove the Service's configuration yourself, where a command for it is available (e.g. removing a translation pair).
• Contact us at osirisstudio.games@gmail.com requesting deletion of data tied to your Discord user ID, and we will process the request within a reasonable time.

The Service is intended for use in accordance with Discord's own age requirements. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age required by Discord's Terms of Service; if it is discovered that such data was collected, it will be deleted.

The Service Provider takes reasonable measures to safeguard the data described above, but no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure.

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date on this page. This policy is effective as of 2026-08-02.
