Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to the Vektra Discord bot (hereby referred to as "Service"), operated by oSiRiS Studio (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). By inviting Vektra to a Discord server or otherwise using it, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Vektra is a Discord bot that provides, among other features, real-time channel translation, a Hangman minigame with rankings and statistics, and a feedback channel. Some features may be offered as part of an optional paid "Premium" tier via Discord's built-in App Subscriptions, granting expanded limits or capabilities over the free tier.

You agree not to misuse the Service, including but not limited to: attempting to disrupt or overload the Service, reverse-engineering or extracting its source code, using it to violate Discord's Terms of Service or Community Guidelines, or using it for any unlawful purpose. The Service Provider may restrict or terminate access to the Service, for any user or server, at its discretion in response to misuse or abuse.

Premium features, when available, are purchased and managed through Discord's own subscription system. Billing, refunds, and payment disputes are handled by Discord in accordance with its own terms and policies; the Service Provider does not process or store payment information.

The Service operates on and depends on Discord, and uses Groq's API for translation. Your use of the Service is also subject to the terms of these providers:

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. The Service Provider does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation and is not liable for any loss or damage arising from use of, or inability to use, the Service, including data loss (e.g. game statistics or translation configuration) resulting from outages, bugs, or Discord platform changes.

The Service Provider may update, modify, or discontinue the Service, in whole or in part, at any time without prior notice. The Service Provider may also update these Terms periodically; continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. These Terms are effective as of 2026-08-02.
